These solutions include bio-based polymer colorants and additives, and bio-derived thermoplastic elastomers with lower product carbon footprint (PCF) values substantiated by Avient’s PCF Calculator certified by TÜV Rheinland for ISO 14067 compliance.   Bio-based Polymer Colorants and Additives Launched in 2021, Mevopur™ Healthcare Bio-based Polymer Solutions are color and additive concentrates and ready-to-use formulations manufactured with bio-based polypropylene, polyethylene, polycarbonate, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, or styrenic polymers.  

Focusing on consumer, transportation, and luxury packaging industries, Avient will present the latest additions to its sustainable solutions portfolio. Additional iterations are in development for other high-performance resins, including polyethersulfone (PES) and polysulfone (PSU).   They are tested to ISO 10993 standards and can be customized with the addition of functional additives to enhance product performance.
