GlasArmor™ Ballistic Resistant Panels

GlasArmor™ Ballistic Resistant Panels

Military-Grade Protection

Ballistic-resistant composite panels from Avient are constructed to provide any facility with military-grade protection. Originally developed for protection from mortar fire, fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) composite panels offer ballistic resistance at less than 25 percent of the weight of a comparable steel panel.

GlasArmor™ Ballistic Resistant Panels are constructed from layers of 0°/90° woven E-glass fiber reinforcements with a proprietary thermoset resin system. Panels are available for protection in a variety of applications in accordance to UL 752 and NIJ test standards for ballistic resisting materials.
