McHENRY, Ill. – PolyOne GLS Thermoplastic Elastomers today announced the launch of an overmolding technology based on Versaflex™ VDT thermoplastic elastomer (TPEs), developed for vibration and impact damping applications.
Customers familiar with our Versaflex VDT material have asked for an overmolding variation that allows them to leverage the design freedom of two-shot and insert injection molding,” said Charles Page, director, global marketing, PolyOne GLS Thermoplastic Elastomers.
Versaflex VDT TPE for overmolding is available in 40 - 60 Shore A hardness levels, and is opaque and colorable.
