Tests conducted by PolyOne on cable extruded from ECCOH 5702 specialty polymers reveal a CoF up to 75% lower than standard LSFOH (Low Smoke and Fume, Non-Halogen) formulations. The new formulations can use varying levels for post-industrial recycled content – from 25% to 100% recycled content for polyamide 66 (PA66) and from 25% to 75% recycled content for thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). This expands the product line that launched earlier this year with PA6 resin derived from reclaimed end-of-life fishing nets.
