CLEVELAND – June 24, 2021 – Avient today announced the launch of two new grades within its next-generation Barricade™ elastomers product line that expand the durometer range, which now spans from 50 to 90 Shore A. The softest durometer in this product line, the new 50A grade, offers exceptional haptics for enhanced user comfort.

Major brands often use these two recycled polymer materials in product lines and market them accordingly on product labels and descriptions. Because they are unique to a manufacturer and product line, the confirmation of their presence in the material will substantiate the origin of the material to the specified manufacturer.
