Video Polystrand Unidirectional Composite Tape Continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite tape is slit to custom widths from 2" to 24".

PCC has fewer impurities than GCC and can be produced in specific particle shapes, narrow particle size distributions, and fine particle sizes.2   Fumed synthetic silica is used for reinforcement and for infrared-light absorption in greenhouse films.2 The filler is also nonabrasive and has a low density.2 Aluminum oxide and nitride are more abrasive.

This offered significant improvement in dispersion and dimensional stability, and an additional 2% density reduction, lowering final part weight.
