GHS is a United Nations regulatory framework intended to more closely harmonize the often different hazard communication requirements in different countries. GHS generally requires more information on the hazards of chemicals to be included on an SDS, and requires it in a different format, so GHS SDSs are generally longer than before. This means that we are implementing GHS format SDSs to continue to provide our valued customers their solutions of choice, and meeting coming regulations by the required deadline.

The tactile feel of the silicone was too silky and lacked the grippiness required for optimal control. It requires a pre-mixing step, a long curing phase and an adhesive to bond to the plastic substrate. Avient was able to meet the customer’s exact requirements for color and duration.
