Sourcing materials from overseas made the company vulnerable to quality inconsistencies and long lead times. THE SOLUTION The company approached Avient with its challenge. This saved the customer over $25,000 in annual material costs in addition to resolving its toughest design challenges.

The majority of our products are not labeled or transported as hazardous materials. Avient does currently purchase and use a small amount of fluoropolymers and PFAS containing additives as raw materials which represent less than 3% of our global product portfolio. For Avient, the most material aspect of Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) is our Product Carbon Footprint (PCF).
