Mevopur™ Healthcare Bio-based Polymer Solutions — to help reduce carbon footprint, this range of color and additive concentrates are formulated with bio-based polypropylene, polyethylene, polycarbonate, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, and styrenic polymers, offering significant carbon footprint reductions of 70% to 120% compared to their fossil-fuel-based counterparts, and manufactured under the same quality management system as other Mevopur products, they are drop-in solutions that can be used like their fossil-fuel-based counterparts in the injection molding, blow molding, and extrusion of medical devices and pharmaceutical packaging
Mevopur™ chemical foaming agents — to reduce material use by up to 20% depending on part geometry and wall thickness, these biocompatible chemical foaming solutions are suitable for the injection molding and extrusion of polyolefins, styrenics, and copolymers

General extrusion guidelines for FireCon™ Thermoplastic CPE-A (English language version)
ColorMatrix™ Fiber Colorant Solutions combine advanced liquid color formulations with state-of-the-art, high-pressure metering equipment to enable late-stage injection of liquid color in polyester melt extrusion spin coloring processes.

Most fluoropolymers, other than PTFE and polyvinyl fluoride (PVF), can be melt processed using conventional thermoplastic extrusion or molding techniques.
The high-speed manufacture of thin-wall wire jacketing would require a distinctly different formulation compared to the extrusion of a large cross-section stock shape such as a rod.
In contrast, rod extrusion would require very stable pigments due to the longer residence time in the extruder.

PRODUCT BULLETIN
Non-PFAS Polymer Process Aids
for Extrusion in Polyolefins
Cesa™ and Hiformer™ Non-PFAS Process Aids are
formulated without the use of fluorochemicals.
They can be used in the extrusion of polyethylene
or polypropylene to reduce the friction between the
molten polymer and metal, enabling the polymers
to be extruded without melt fracture.
KEY CHARACTERISTICS
• Reduces melt fracture leading to fast time
to clear
• Reduces die buildup
• Improves process efficiency
• Retains ability to seal and print
• Available in both solid and liquid
• Offers low concentration efficiency
• Reduces power requirements
• Does not interact with other additives
APPLICATIONS
• Blown film
• Profile extrusion
• Tubing and pipe extrusion
• Wire and cable applications
• Extruded sheet
• Applications in both virgin resin and PCR

Colorant Chromatics™ PVDF Processing Aids are specially formulated to improve the melt processing in the
extrusion of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) resins.
Colorant Chromatics™ PVDF Processing Aids
KEY CHARACTERISTICS
• Provides lubricity to reduce or eradicate
die build-up or die drool during processing
• Optimizes coefficient of friction (COF)
and helps control extrusion pressure
• Prevents melt fracture (also known as
sharkskin) resulting in a smoother
surface finish
• Minimizes defects for improved final
part quality
• Improves extrusion line speed to boost
production efficiency and reduce total
energy requirements
MARKETS & APPLICATIONS
Colorant Chromatics™ PVDF Processing Aids are
suitable for PVDF manufacturing in applications
such as:
• Wire & cable
• Tube or pipe extrusion
• Cable jacketing
• Filaments, including fishing line
