Besides relying on the verified halogen-free technology of all flame-retardant reSound TPEs, Avient’s new low-PCF HFFR formulations include two reSound BIO grades with up to 45% bio-based content and one reSound REC FR grade with up to 30% PCR content.

Avient expands its recently launched reSound™ REC TPE AF 7210 grades to Asia, offering a range of PCR-based solutions for overmolding PP in demanding automotive applications.
These new grades of TPEs, launched earlier this year in Europe, contain 25%-55% post-consumer recycle (PCR) content, complement the existing offering of PCR-based products for polypropylene (PP) overmolding, and are specially developed for automotive interior applications such as mats, grips, and console trays.
The new PCR-based reSound REC grades, which have been extensively tested in laboratories and applications in collaboration with OEM partners, exhibit outstanding results in line with requirements for automotive interiors.
