Formulations are heavy
metal-free and manufactured using state-of-the-
art pigment dispersion techniques that improve
homogenization and color distribution.
KEY CHARACTERISTICS
• Consistent coloring and improved
homogenization with the polymer for more
efficient processing and waste reduction
• Opaque PSU/PES/PPSU masterbatches
available with shorter lead times in a range
of readily available standard colors
• Minimum order quantities as low as 5kg (10lbs)
for improved inventory control
• Robust colorant formulations mean zero
disruption to existing molding processes,
allowing manufacturers to bring products
to market faster and without investing in
new machinery

Enhance supply chain flexibility – Unlike silicone,
which is limited by a complex silica mining supply
chain and manufactured in silicone-only factories,
Avient TPEs can be processed by any injection
molding manufacturer.
Reduce overall costs – Versaflex CE 3320-70 has
lower manufacturing and total part costs compared
to silicone.

ATO is only used as an industrial intermediate in manufacturing locations
designed for the handling of plastics and chemicals.
ATO has also been found to be useful as a catalyst for
PET manufacture, as a frictional additive in automotive brake linings, as a clarifier for glass, as an opacifier for
enamels, as a coating for titanium dioxide applications, and as a stabilizer for certain pigments.
Though there are potential hazards associated with ATO, it is only handled
by highly trained people in manufacturing environments utilizing specialty equipment, safety controls, and
personal protective equipment.

Brand owners
and manufacturers are responding by seeking to
incorporate materials including post-consumer
recycled plastics into their products and processes.
Now, with new recycled-content
composites, Avient further supports a circular
economy and helps manufacturers lessen their
environmental footprint.

Proper handling and
storage can help minimize these characteristics,
in turn, maximizing the utility of the plastisol and
minimizing potential manufacturing issues and
their associated costs.
Using plastisol that has separated will have serious
ramifications on the manufacturing process.
