Our atmospheric protection activities are based on a comprehensive analysis of our emissions. While conventional air emissions are a critical and a highlyinfluential topic in some industrial sectors, as a specialty formulator of purchased materials, Avient’s conventional air emission levels from legacy operations are de minimis and not material.

This meant the raw materials and processing method needed to be reconsidered. An added challenge was to ensure the material was stabilized against potential degradation. This additive protects the door from cracking as it comes into contact with copper particles over time.
