CESA™ Nox Additives Stabilization PRODUCT SELECTION GUIDE Exposure to heat, shear and oxygen during processing causes the creation of free radicals from the polymer. These free radicals rapidly react with other polymer chains, propagating the degradation of the polymer and resulting in yellowing, black specks, loss of melt strength, and mechanical properties in most resins. CESA™ Nox additives target the free radicals, terminating the oxidation reactions and preserving the polymer properties through one or more processing steps or cycles, including recycling.
