The ISCC PLUS certification uses a mass balance chain-of-custody approach, which involves third-party accounting and tracking of the bio-sourced content in materials.
This method accurately accounts for and traces bio-derived feedstock throughout the value chain, from the raw materials to the final product.
The Chin Bee facility is the first Avient site in Asia and the sixth site globally to achieve this certification, including the Malmö (Sweden) and Saint Ouen L’Aumône (France) facilities, which were accredited in 2024.
